No Waste NOLA is building a community-led vision for a healthy, clean, and just New Orleans. We are a nonprofit dedicated to empowering residents and neighbors through equitable shared visions of community reuse and renewal, supporting existing efforts and creating programming around those needs self-identified by local residents.

No Waste NOLA hosts several events around the New Orleans area! Check out our Facebook page for the most recent event updates; we create Facebook Events for every education session or community meeting we host.

No Waste NOLA is hosting a series of community conversations to build a joint Zero Waste Road Map, which will inform our programs until 2020. We hear a lot of talk about the “circular economy” these days. But what does that actually mean? And how does New Orleans see itself in a “circular” future? No Waste NOLA is bringing together a workshop of local and visiting activists, defining and envisioning circularity based on the needs of New Orleans residents.
